Well drilling speed and reliability

In the process of development, Salvation’s drilling tools created an abundance of new features that are incorporated into our design. The benefits of these new features serve to increase; the rate of penetration, reliability, longevity, steerability, and wellbore circularity. These new strengths eliminate the weaknesses of other three-cone designs and…much more.

So advanced, Salvation’s Drilling Tools are protected by three granted patents with a total of 51 allowed claims and an additional patent pending.

ELECTRON-BEAM WELDED CONE RETENTION

A solid, electron beam welded cone retention ring securely holds the cones in place.  The failure-proof retention system also provides increased and balanced thrust surfaces, which makes our bits great for steerable drilling.  Reduced bit bearing and retention operating clearances provide parallel hole gage and dramatically increase bit life.

LAMINAR FLOW HYDRAULICS

Unrestricted and unobstructed targeted laminar flow hydraulics, with optimal nozzle placement, directly and continuously blasts the hole bottom clean, combined with increased bit annular clearance, instantly removes chips eliminating extensive chip re-cutting, which significantly increases the amount of drilled footage and rate of penetration.

Salvation Bearing Journal

Large bearing surface areas and through-hardened journals with the best combination of metallurgical properties known. Capable of higher loads, rates of penetration, and longer life while operating at lower temperatures.

SALVATION PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Salvation’s primary focus is three-cone rotary drill bits for the oil and gas industry. Our products provide outstanding performance in either straight well or directional drilling applications. Any size bit can be provided; our design is completely scalable – without limitation, from the smallest to the largest; Salvation’s design will provide the same outstanding performance. Currently in production is our first bit size and type, Salvation Model # 778-TCI, which is a 7.7/8″ diameter rock bit for soft to medium hard formations. This model uses tungsten carbide inserts.

Keep your eyes on Salvation. We will be rapidly expanding our offered sizes.

Salvation Drilling Tools will continually broaden its product lines to best serve our client’s current and future drilling needs.
